Gerd and dairy.............calories/protein

Hi,

I have two questions, I'm new so forgive me if its been asked before, does anyone find that eating dairy even if no fat causes additional GERD or acid reflux?

Other question is I am 8 weeks out, 80 ounces of Protein per day, 100 ounces of Water per day.

What is everyone doing calorie wise, esp at 8-10 weeks out.

Thank you

I was at 600 - 800 calories a day. It takes some juggling to both keep calories low and protein high but it can be done.

Thank you.

Im in that range, 600-800.

One thing I noticed I did to add in more calories since Friday, because I was hovering between 450 and 525 only, was added in dairy and since then my GERD has been out of control. I think I need to take it back out and add in something different. This is terrible...I even doubled my acid reflux med and it didnt help at all.

I didn't have problems with acid until I added food back in. When I was all liquids & even soft foods, I ate a lot of dairy, mostly greek yogurt but also some cheese. When I was on whatever you can tolerate I noticed my acid increased.
