Hurry up & wait!

I'm getting antsy, & I'm not even close to getting my surgery date. I have four more Dr. supervised visits. My psych evaluation is a week from this Tuesday, & a f/u psych appt. two weeks after that. I've been cleared for surgery by my cardiologist, so hopefully the rest of my appointments go fast! I'm hoping for a May surgery date!

I've been doing a lot of research about which Protein drinks to try. Looking at nutritional value, reading reviews, & ordering samples to try pre-op (primarily when I start my pre-op diet).

I'm learning so much from this forum, everyone is so friendly, & have been great with offering advice! I'm glad I found you, and know I'm not going through this alone!

The waiting is awful! I still have 4 NUT appts too - so thinking I will be sleeved July or August. I have been on these boards every day and have learned so much and found so many great Protein resources. I swear I could open a little protein powder/drink business with all that I have bought! Lol, I'm a little OCD. : )

I also have four more monthly visits. I think that all of my testing is finished - some of it might have to be repeated. My doctor requires "recent pap" and "up-to-date" mammogram; I asked my surgery coordinator exactly what those terms meant to them, and she said two years. Depending on my surgery date, I might have to have a mammogram again.

I've already had an upper GI, an upper endoscopy, a colonoscopy (and I'm thankful my doc requires it, as they found something that needed to be taken care of), psych eval, nutrition class, and lots of labwork.
