What activities are you looking forward to doing?

Once those pounds drop off and the muscle go on, a whole bunch of activities are going to open up to us. So how are you going to put your weightloss to use?

I'm going to learn to scuba dive. Always wanted to, and now I'm going to make that happen.

I have some friends who go hunting every year, deep into the northwest wood. I've never hunted before but I'm going to join then next winter. (Imagine how long the venison will last me now that I'm sleeved).

Better sex. Give it my all like I did 20 years ago, when I didn't have limitations.

What are you planning for?

Here's a new one. I want to go kayaking. I love fishing and am too poor to own a boat, I figure a kayak is a good middle ground. I want to start flying more places. I simply refuse to fly anywhere

Well, just got back from a great week of skiing in Breckenridge CO. Haven't been skiing in over 10 years. My sleeve has given me a new life with no limits. :D

Here's my before and after only one short year later......

Wow! Amazing and inspiring!

Just got invited for a guys weekend where one of the big activities is zip lining. I'm going to go. I've got 6 months to get to the weight limit and I booked it. I WILL MAKE THE WEIGHT. I know I can. I will succeed and do something I never dreamed I could.

Awesome! Sounds like a great goal to conquer.

I really want to be able to wear a pair of tall boots.

So I just realized I posted in the guys group- I'm sorry! It came up as a recent topic the other day and I didn't see this was for the men only. Apologies dudes!

Oh crap, I didn't realize this was the men's room. Sorry guys!
Oh, this is men only? That explains a lot! LOL

Another 50 pounds and I will be able to safely ride my bicycle... can't wait, for 20 years it was my primary source of exercise.... The day I get on a plane and do not need a seat belt extension will be a good day...

I do tell myself that I am now 64 years old, and that muscular trim 22 year old is no longer there --- but a trim 65 year old awaits!

I have some health concerns, and I need to be there for my children

But I'm not gonna lie...

One of my main reasons for having 2/3 of my stomach removed is sex.....

Lots and lots of sex.......

My wife is 14 years younger than me, and she's a freak (one of the reasons I married her).

I wanted this surgery to change my life and help me do the things I wanted to do, but were too difficult, like sailing and kayaking with my kids.

6 months and 92 lbs later and now I'm doing it.

Paddle boarding and kayaking and taking my shirt of at the beach

Taking my shirt off at the beach... oh yeah, that skins gonna burn, but gonna feel so good to bake in the sun!

@@Recycled - I know the feeling you had at Breckenridge. Last week I kept my promise to my buddies that we would attack a 14K mountain next time we were in CO. That was impossible before surgery, but got it done

What I want to do is tear up the list of things that I can't do now !

My new goal for the spring is to climb the mountain right across the valley from my rural Colorado home. I am going to try to post a photo of it, Mt. Lamborn, just to the right of my yellow lab's ear in this photo
