Well, surgery's tomorrow (Tuesday, February 3, 2015) and I'm sick: runny nose; soar throat; headache; swollen glands; cough; postnasal drip...drip...drip. I do have extreme allergies and I'm hoping it's that. I don't have a fever and I'm not short of breath. What would you do???

@@Kellsbells I'd call my surgeon's office right away and ask - ( Even if it's allergies, that might not be safe for anesthesia -- but I really don't know for sure, so if I were you, I'd call right away - good luck!

He said as long as I wasn't running a fever or had chest congestion we were good! So now I'm 3 days out and doing great! Still have a runny nose & its trying to go down in my chest, but I'm fighting it off. Prayers would be a great help! Thanks!!!

Great, you didn't have to delay your surgery. Take care of yourself and get over that crud that you have. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I'm feeling much better...thanks!!! The crud never went to my chest. I'm still sniffling and coughing, due to post nasal drip.

Six days out now and really excited about my post-op visit tomorrow. I can't wait to weigh!!! I'll keep you guys informed.
