Port pain

I am 24 hours out of surgery. Gas pains getting better but nothing something new. Pretty accute paini to the side of my port. Almost feels like a pulled or torn muscle. Reading on here it may also be a popped stitch. What do you, wait it out or go to dr.

That pain around your port is pretty normal and it's going to last a while. I'm a month post-op and it still pulls and is tender when I bend over to pick something up. The pain is nothing like it was the first week or two after surgery and is much more tolerable, but I think there's always going to be a little discomfort around the port site.

I agree! I'm almost 2 weeks post op and it feels like a torn muscle if I bend over or put any tension on my right side. I'd say whatever you are experiencing is probably completely normal.
