Final Pre-op appointment was today Surgery Friday some questions

So I went today for my final pre-op appointment. Everything is looking good and down 16lbs from 2 weeks of protein shakes and healthy choice dinners. My surgeon didn't mention, and I forgot to ask, about the day before surgery. Is it supposed to be all liquids? Also, I was going to go out tomorrow night for dinner to Texas Roadhouse. Nothing really crazy, just the smallest steak they have and some veggies and mashed potatoes. Would that be acceptable. No bread, fries, nothing like that and not drinks of course. Any input is welcome.

First off congrats! I would call to find out just to be sure because every surgeon is different. I had no pre op diet but wasn't allowed to eat anything after midnight the day before my surgery.

My surgery was on a Friday and I went out to eat on that Wednesday for a meal. It just depends.

I have my last appointment on 1/28 and my surgery is 2/12. I was suppose to go to Texas Roadhouse on 1/29 but I canceled. I don't was any problems or to be tempted.
