Hi Diane  I'm in day 5 of my pre-op, liquid diet. What kind of pre-op diet are you doing and how long? Mine is 6 day's full liquid Protein diet, 1 day Clear liquids. As for suggestions...I wish I had some tricks...all I'm doing is getting through it a day at a time. It's really tough, but I believe it will be worth it.

I understand where you are coming from. I will be starting my pre-op on June 1st. I was advised by my Doctor to drink to replace 2 meals a day with a Protein shake and eat a dinner entree like lean cuisine, etc. I can also have sugar free drinks like chrystal lite, etc., sugar free popsicles and sugar free Jello. I'm starting a few days early to prepare myself for what's to come. I did the Slim Fast diet years ago so I know I can do it but I'm allowing myself a few extra days to adjust. Good Luck! Keep me posted on your progress.
