Liquids

I am 5 weeks out and find I am still having a hard time getting all my liquid and protein in. I sip water all day. I can't stomach the protein drinks anymore. I am on soft food but anytime I try any kind of meat (crock pot meats) even very soft with gravy it makes me deathly ill. I'm afraid I'm gonna start losing hair bc of lack of protein. Anyone else have this problem?

hair thinning is common even when you do eat all your Protein, you're body is in starvation mode. Take your Vitamins.

eggs, Beans, fish filets, string cheese, nut butter, tuna salad, non spicy chilli, goulash, meatball Soup, cauliflower pizza

Get creative with recipes and be leary of gravys they're very heavy filler. I use ricotta, hummus, salsa, sour cream for flavor fillers

I switched to Isopure unflavored. I disliked the sickly sweet taste of most Protein drinks and I can't do the ones with artificial flavoring and colorings. I add the Isopure to my coffee, in my yogurt and even in my soups/broth. It doesn't effect the flavor and I get the added protein.

Why are you not getting in all your Water? If water is too difficult to drink straight, try doing a 50/50 apple or white grape juice and water blend. I prefer using FAGE 0% greek yogurt instead of sour cream because it has more protein. I also eat spinach/dark green veg, Beans, nuts, hummus, ricotta, eggs and cheese to add to my protein intake.

I'll share my handy protein source chart. meat is not the only source of protein.
