Infection?

8 days post op!! I have discharge coming (pinkish/yellow) out of my big incision, the one where the stomach was removed. My doctor in MX asked that I drain it. Today is the second day of draining. How long does this last? How did it get this? I've been on top of my stuff, showering twice a day, cleaning it with water and sole etc... Did anyone else have this?

Taking Riopan, it doesn't hurt and it isn't red nor is it swollen. No fever....

The correct term for what I have is a seroma my doc says... Just drain...should last 3-4 days. On day 2

So do you still have the drain in or is the incision itself still oozing? I would have it looked at by my PCP just to be safe. Incisions are funny and can heal weirdly even when you take every precaution. Better safe than sorry.
