Sleeved Yesterday

Hello,

This is my first post, I have been reading the forums for several weeks and have received a great deal of helpful information. I was sleeved yesterday and am still in the hospital with discharge scheduled for tomorrow. So far so good and everything has gone well. I was 409lbs the day I started my shakes and 388 yesterday morning before the procedure. I know this is going to be a very long road to make my goal (and stay there). The forums have really helped in my preparation for surgery. Also, did anyone else experience hiccups post op? They are not pleasant with the fresh incision sites and wanted to see if that eventually subsides.

Welcome to the other side! I did not experience them post op, but I notice now that I am eating mostly food that if I am eating too fast I hiccup. It's not painful, but it is a good reminder to eat slower.

Thank you for the advice, it's feels good to finally be on this side of the journey.

Congratulations! I didn't have hiccups that early on, but now when i am full i get a few and some burps. Thats when i know i'm full and to quit eating. Wishing you much success! :-)
