Low Vitamin D level

Just got my pre-op blood work back and was told I had to start a prescription Vitamin D along with my daily multi vitamin. (Score was 19.3)

Anyone else have this come up?

      For the 1st time in my life, my vit d was low also. Which struck me as odd, I had massive bloodwork done May 2013, and all my numbers were good. I had a baby Dec 24, 2013..everything seemed to tank.

    @@happymama2014 I bet I will have to switch to something like that after my numbers come up some and they take me off the scrip Vit D. I like the sound of chocolate chews :) Thanks for sharing ~

    I'm required daily VIT d. I take two chocolate chews from CVS EACH IS 1000 iu. In addition to my MULTI which has 800 iu and my Calcium which has 1000 iu. So it's important to have a stand alone VIT d supplement.

    The centrum chewables I got at target it seems like the best place so far I have found, you can order them online at amazon, target.com and I believe walgreens.com as well.
