Hi,

Welcome to the Dark Side. How's the recovery going?

Post op I recovered pretty quickly. Doing well, still on full liquid diet and can't wait to taste real food in the puréed diet! ( was on protein shake only for three weeks before surgery also!). Still haven't really started losing weight, so sometimes worried that the surgery didn't work...lol

Try not to weigh. Wait till you go in for your first surgical visit. I didn't weigh at all the first year (except when I saw my surgeon). That way I didn't see the ups/downs/plateaus.

Take pics and/or measurements every 3 mos. or so. That will help chronicle your weight loss and give you something great to look back on.

Welcome!!!
