Congrats on reaching your goal!! I hit 60 pounds lost this morning!!!!

As for rewards.....hadn't set any specific ones....yet! Getting to buy clothes from an actual store instead of a catalog is reward enough for me so far. I'll think on it and hopefully come back with some....

Way to go Edie! Congratulations on all of your success! And same to you Lisa!

I haven't set goals or even thought of what my treats will be...

My son was the one who kept pushing me and encouraging me to have the surgery....sat thru seminars, took me to consultations, stayed with me at the hospital, went to my follow-up meetings, takes my pictures every month - his support has meant so much to me that there is no way I'm going to fail. Therefore.....when I reach Onederland, we are going to do something we have both wanted to do for years - we are going to take a ride in a hot air balloon!! We've already located one, checked out the prices, times, etc - we're gonna do it!!!

I'm not sure you would call it a reward, but everytime I think about stopping at a store for a snack or a fast food rest. I take all the money I would of spent on food and put it in a jar for my fills. I was shocked to see how much I really spent on "bad" or "fast foods". I never worry about not having enough for a fill when I need it.

Well, I have sort of been rewarding myself all along since every 25 lbs. I have to find new clothes( but my sister and I stayed so close in size that we kept switching our closets around), but my really serious reward came when I lost 75 lbs. I went to Tiffany's, and bought myself a platinum and diamond ing with a little dangling heart on it to remind myself daily that all of this work has been to spare my heart any further damage, and then when my new grandbaby is born in December I will gift it to her . I really feel that if I had not had this surgery, I might not be alive to even hold her, much less watch her grow up. My heart was suffering from the load it was under, and my husband had had a heart attack at 45 from years of obesity. Now he has had the surgery, and is on his way to a good reward. Mizboo

So far, just getting into smaller clothes has been reward enough, but I shall think of a goody for when I reach goal.

LOL! @ Pacomomma who bought herself a Ford Escape.

Wow now THAT'S sum kina reward.

Our 25th wedding anniversary will be in 2009, all my weight should be gone by then and we are going to go on a trip. It would not happen now with my body image etc, I would not enjoy myself, wouldn't be in pictures,,,well you know the rest.

I hope to be able to reward myself with health and a vacation!!!

I bought myself some new walking shoes. Boy, you would be surprised how 30 pounds makes a difference in the way you walk. My old shoes look hideous and I can not even stand to walk with them now. My feet turned out so much the sides of the shoes where more wore out than the bottoms...Deanna
