Hey everyone! Last weekend was much better for me, not perfect, but much improved. Now I just need to keep that momentum as the weekend is upon us again and this is proven over and over to be the hardest for me. I decided to start some home improvement projects as a way to keep myself moving and my mind preoccupied. Staying busy for me is key!

I hope everyone is doing well!!!!

Hey folks - I've been the worst about checking in, and haven't even been to PB for over a month I think. I'd been letting my weight creep up for a couple months, but I really went off the rails the week of Christmas, and then several weeks afterwards too. I'm back on track now, and starting to lose the 25 lbs I'd gained since October. Man that's hard to write!! Harder still to have to re-lose it. Darn!!

Interested to hear how you're all doing; @

Hope you're all doing well. I saw this quote on a daily service I subscribe to, and thought it described really well how I"m feeling. Anyone else similarly?

“He knew that under the tall grass of an apparently untamed future the steel rails of fear and habit were already laid. What he suddenly couldn’t bear, with every cell in his body, was to act out the destiny prepared for him by his past, and slide obediently along those rails, contemplating bitterly all the routes he would rather have taken.”

Hey everyone! It's been a while since my last post and the tag from @@katesuccess reminded me to check in, so thank you for that!

I'm back in the game, made some evaluations of what was taking course over the last six months,I didn't reveal anything I wasn't aware of just came to terms with what I had chosen to ignore like those extra handfuls of trail mix I wasn't accounting for in my daily calorie log REALLY adds up like by 300 calories per day= an ENTIRE Extra meal with NO Nutritional value just added lbs. over the course of time!, making the best choices possible (so yes I still ads the trail mix to my daily yogurt BUT I measure exactly and then put it away, never to be seen again until the next day, being conscious of my carb in-take(I realized I was taking in ALOT more carbs over the last six months then I was prior), getting in all of my water and of course still on target with my protein. I've found keeping myself busy is the key. When it gets cold outside its easy to turn on TV and just relax, which is fine but for me this is the time when the head hunger takes over so I just have to keep moving which is a good thing, I get a lot of things done, I burn calories vs. consuming them and I don't have time to let the head hunger register.

I'm here and back in the program after two weeks of mess. Like you, eating junk and too much of it. Looking at it objectively, it was a binge, plain and simple. Either way, I've talked to the dietician, committed to 30 clean days, and started today.

I would LOVE the additional accountability of daily posts here. Can we commit to 30 days of regular, honest, intentional posts?

I'm willing to do some accountability with you I need to start measuring my food I have the tools but am lazy I hated ww points I think that's where my block mentality comes from but I am starting to think I would lose more if I measured any ideas suggestions I will post every day

@@RockinRobin59 I eat out of a one cup glass bowl, pretty much every meal, and use an appetizer fork. I made sure it's a pretty little bowl and a nice fork. I bought enough to last a week. Sounds silly, but keeps me on track without actually having to weigh and measure everything. I also track what I eat in Myfitnesspal to keep me honest and track Protein, carbs, and calories. My dietician has me at 50g or less of carbs daily.

@@2babutterfly so glad to hear from you! Seems it's always the two of us that drag our tails back here. I thought today, if I stay on track, I can easily be in those little fall & winter clothes hanging in my closet. You know, the ones I couldn't wear this past fall/winter, yeah those. ;) It's a great time to just do it!

I use diet coach app to track my food the dietitian set for me with calorie limit 1200 but I have never gotten to 1200 mostly 800 I excerise 3 days minimal I was lazy yesterday and didn't cook but today making navy bean soup

Hello just back from crazy life. Now I can focus again. Grand daughter has great news from treatment. All systems are go at our place. Cooking some cheesy potato soup for dinner. Had a boost for lunch. So chilly outside for April. I need to get my am exercise routine on at dawn again. Tomorrow am is a great day to begin! Miss everyone...

Hooray. So glad to see some activity back on the board! I thing the important thing is is that we might stray...but we always come back looking for help and support.

@punkinvine. So good to see you on! I'm glad things are calming down for you!

@rockinrobin59. How are you doing with 800 calories? I know sometimes if I go too low in calories my body won't let me lose. Sometimes I try to make a big batch of chicken salad or something and portion it out for my weekly lunches.

@s_suther. We are house shopping and I now know how crazy all of that is. It's been consuming my mind so it will be good for me to focus on my health for a change!

@@2babutterfly - as you know, we just finished house shopping about six months ago. Since then, it's been renovation shopping. Ha!

@@punkinvine - so glad to hear all is well.

@@RockinRobin59 - seems I stay around the 800 calorie mark as well when I'm eating "clean".

All is well here. Ate OP yesterday, got my Water and my walk too. I shall rinse and repeat today. Have a fantastic afternoon and take care of you.

I forgot to post yesterday however I over ate yesterday had lump crab cake and sweet potato for dinner I believe it was the sweet potato I should have had a quarter instead of half boy did I have a difficult night little sleep because of stuffed feeling and terrible gas today liquids and ginger roasted chicken and will use my cup container suggested to eat out of that is much helpful to me and I had it in cabinet already well got my water in going drink 1 protein shake dinner at 6:30 hope everyone is having a successful day One Day at a time One Meal at a time

Just getting back in the digesting well phase. Anyone else experience issues after they have had an oral antibiotic? I was well and then had sinus infection. Treated with amoxicilin 10 days and boy oh boy... acid reflux and upchuck queen here. I did the probiotic gummies and ate yogurt. Still a mess for 3 weeks. I must say I am down 12 pounds so at 10 pounds below goal wt. But not worth the icky stomach issues. The last 4 days I have been able to drink plenty and eat about 2 cups of food total a day. More like my old self. Feeling content and normal today~ YIPPEE and thankful. I do think stress is a culprit for me as well. Life is joyfilled and we have so many blessings! I need to get back in the exercise program . It is warming up here next week so to the push plow in the garden I go!

Glad you're feeling better the weather in NJ is cold and my arthritis in my hip has been bothering me however I did have an awesome workout in gym this week went 2x Moving Forward
