Hey, @bacon! Good to hear from you. Congrats on that camper. We hike a lot in our area and really enjoy it. Like you, I just need/want to be more active.
How’s everyone doing??
Oh ok. I’m in Ross County

Hey peeps. Hanging in there. Had a serious medical scare. Blood sugars out of control. On track for the moment. Hope all is well.

Hey there @bacon! Congrats on that great loss! Sounds like you’re rocking and rolling.
I’m doing well, down 20 since the new year. Eating right and going to the gym five times a week. It’s amazing what can happen when I put forth some effort and do what I know to do. ?
Who’s with us???

@s_suther way to stay focused. So glad to hear you doing so well. I really want and need to stay focused with some intensity. Not joined the gym yet. But am walking at least 30 minutes a day outside of work.

Hoped to get support here. I hope you all are well. Feel free to chime in. My band removal surgery is scheduled for Thursday. I've had good success losing recently. Down 60 pounds since March 11th.

@bacon I didn’t realize you were having band removal! We’re you having a lot of trouble? I hope all goes well with your surgery. Please keep us posted and let us know how it goes

@2babutterfly, I had an emergency unfill a couple years back. Things were ok. Other than being super tight every few days. In March my diabetes got out of control and I started a diet to control my blood sugar. Started losing weight and my band started giving me great amount of shooting pains. About 4 times a minute. Memorial day I was working in the yard and started vomiting and dry heaving for the better part of 5 hours. I promised my wife I was having it removed. Fought this thing 11 and a half years. I'm just spent. Hope this group becomes active again and I can stay a part of it.

SO good to hear from you guys!! @bacon - I’m so sorry about your troubles, but sounds like you have a great plan in place. I suppose surgery is today and I’ve asked God for peaceful, comfortable, and quick healing for you, friend.

@2babutterfly - how’s life? You all healed and healthy after your health issues?

@s_suther thank you for your prayers. Surgery went real well. I feel better than I have in months. Crazy to think about just 2 hours after being cut on. O hope you all are well.

I am planning on continuing with this weight loss center along with my current plan. I was 239 on their scale before surgery today. Down from 301. I can not believe I let myself get that heavy again. Praising the Lord for the info and success I have found.
