@@NewgirlfromMd I started at St Joe's in July but then moved to Nj and had to start over up here. My date is March 30th finally. U of MD is a great hospital.

I'm slso a recent transplant from MD, now living in NJ. But I'm having surgery at Lenox Hill Dr. Roslin in NYC. We chose him BC DH is having the SIPS WLS being studied there (similar to a bypass but with milder malabsorption and less intrusive). It just so happens I'm going first.

People ... I need ideas.... I had sx Monday March 9th in TJ Mx.... love dr. Vazquez and gang... only pain was PCOS related... tonight I sit in my hotel room unable to sleep because I can't stop weezing and coughing... my hubby, bless her walked to the pharmacia and bought an albuterol inhaler... no I am not asthmatic... then we called the dra. And she had a Mexican musenex delivered to the room ... it has helped me to breath better but I can't lay down and sleep ... hot green tea soothes it for a min... so does ice chips ... but this girl needs sleep AND has an 8 hour + flight home on Friday. ... any ideas?

Good luck! Let us know how you do.

Hi, my surgery is scheduled for March 31, 2015. I go for my pre-op diet class tomorrow. I would love to be in your support group. Good luck, let us know how you are doing.

If you are in that much pain i would say call your surgeon or go to the ER.

Can you add lemon to it, or do crystal light? Make sure you stay hydrated.

I'm getting sleeved on March 30 and my pre-op is in 4 days on 3/19.

I'm excited, but I'm scared because I have such a hard time losing weight. My hope is that this surgery will help alleviate some of the side effects of PCOS.
