hey dude

welcome welcome welcome :)

as our group gets larger - "we people" get smaller!!

you've lost 40 lbs and you haven't started pre-op :)

thats terrific

shows how committed you are!! :)

wonderful to start the new year getting healthy :)

tips???

take one day at a time

"might" be a little rough at first/or later a bit <_<

might stall

things usually get better sooner than later :)

follow all the rules set by doc and NUT(nutritionist)

drink as much as you can

Water is very important

don't allow yourself to get dehydrated

as this early stage - water is more important than Protein

come "visit" this board frequently

you'll get plenty of support here :)

hear all our wisdom, ;)

listen to our good advice

experiences

but - at the end of the day

ALWAYS/ONLY follow the words of your doc/NUT (and me too of course  )

your determination/optimism goes a long way ;)

thats always good

good luck

speedy recovery :)

kathy

Make sure you tell your doctor about your cold so they can tell you what meds you can take. I was sick for three weeks before my surgery and that day I still had coughing and some chest congestion but everything went well. I was so scared that I would start coughing during the operation but that won't happen when being completely under anesthesia.

Hope you feel better soon and congratulations on your weight loss so far. Good job!!!
