What can I eat in the puree phase?

I see my Nut on Monday and I maybe changed to puree. I love my shakes and I'm afraid to eat anything that put me in hospital. Please give me ideas of what can eaten on puree phase?

The nut will help calm your fears. I could have no meat of any kind. Any other baby food was ok. I loved the gerber multigrain Cereal as it reminded me of Cheerios! And I would make it using my Protein drink. HOWEVER! I wasn't eating an entire bowel of anything. Simply a few oz at a time. I have an awesome mini chopper that will mush up anything into baby food consistency. Loved roasted veggies. Also search the board for the baked riccota :)

Best wishes for you.

Can you eat actual baby food during this phase? Like the natural ones in the jar?

My nutritionist said it was okay, but I never did. I think she was talking abut the whole meat ones though. I'd have to double check to be certain.

yes with the exception of the meat. You can actually eat the baby food in jars. Baby food has less seasoning and won't have all the things used to flavor. I got some of the all natural or organic ones so that I could have it in my purse when out on the go or at work. When at home I made my own with roasting veggies and blending until it was the same texture as the jar foods or applesauce.

I am allowed quite a vatiery of things. I can make mince bolognaise (veg needs to be pureed though), i can have fish, soups, cottage cheese, smoothies with fruit, yoghurt, mash vegetables or potato. My nutrionist gave me a massive booklet for each stage and we have a consultation before each phase. I am going to look at some baby food sachets too to add into the mix.
