Soup!

I'm 5 days post op and I'm on a two week full liquid diet. I can't stand protein shakes and or canned soups/broth. It makes me gag.

So I made my own broth tonight with lots of veggies and a tiny piece of chicken breast and then I decided to liquefy it in a bullet blender. Oh man!!! Best soup ever!!! Feels good to get some natural food in my stomach!!!

Just wanted to let you all know cause I was so mad and sad that I can't eat. And this soup totally made me happy!

Good for you. I made my own soups the same way. Just put everything in the nutra bullet.

When I was doing the clear liquid diet (2 weeks), I'd get some regular broth (Swanson's in a box), and boil it for an hour with some celery, carrots, bell pepper, garlic, etc... and then strain all the solids out and drink it. MUCH easier going down than straight broth.
