Clear liquids means anything that you can pour into a glass and be able to see through.

So fruit juices are allowed right? As long as no sugar is added. I love the Simply brand orange, apple and grapefruit juices and it would be great if I could drink them while on the clear liquids portion of the diet.

No. Clear juice means just that, they are clear. You should be able to see through them. White grape and apple juices are considered clear juices. Orange & grapefuit juices are not. However white grape & apple juices are naturally sweet and should always be diluted.

If you are unsure consult with your nutritionist. Some do not want people drinking apple or white grape prior to surgery.

FYI - I don't drink the Simply brand because their juices are much more processed than their commercials would lead you to believe.

Yep, that makes sense. I was just hoping some of the tastier options were ok I guess lol. Thanks!
