2 days post op scared of beeing home

So... finally got the surgery and I felt great at the hospital, doing really good and the doctor was really happy with me.

But I came home yesterday and now its 4 in the morning, not getting any sleep. I guess everything is starting up again in my stomach because its making a lot of noice. I feel some pain, feeling tired and just scared of drinking to much. Did anyone else feel like this and when did it pass?

Thanks!

My worst 2 days where the first two home it will get better. Day 5- where Much better! Hang in there!

@@lejlavj my first few days were rough. During the middle of the night, around three am, I would start to feel a lot of pain. You should've been released with some pain meds, take it. I learned my lesson the hard way. As Elode says, it does get better. Please remember to drink your fluids, even if your scared. It's important to stay hydrated.

Wishing you a speedy recovery

I am single and was home alone after my surgery. I rested and took my meds around the clock for the first 3 days....which not only kept my pain away, but helped me sleep. Take your meds and try to relax. You'll get stronger everyday.
