Anyone else have surgery on the 8th? I would love to have a surgery partner. I am so scared right now. My mother knows 2 people personally who died from bypass, 10-15 years ago. I didn't tell her until last weekend because I knew that she would be negative. I am 52 years old and want to live to see my grandchildren. I need to stop reading the internet and seeing horror stories! My husband, children, and best friend are supportive. I know she is scared for me, but I really need to be positive right now.

I am getting so nervous! I get my call today on the time for Monday. I have now lost only 1.2 pounds on the liver shrinking diet! This is why I am getting this surgery! My metabolism is 0! Good luck to everyone who is having surgery today or tomorrow. Mine is also late in the afternoon so I can understand the concern on not being able to drink. I am also worried about going into hypoglycemic shock. Where are you located?
