I am new to this group. I will be meeting my doctor for the first time December 11th. I am scared and excited at the same time. I don't know what to expect and I hope I can have the gastric sleeve surgery. I am a wife and a mother to a seven year old daughter who asked me if I would be able to go to her wedding. I am so tired of being tired. My daughter tells me that her friends ask her why I am so big. My husband and daughter and I went to watch his son graduate from boot camp and we had to drive the entire trip to South Carolina from Texas because I couldn't fit in the plane seats. I get bruises on my thighs when I sit in chairs that have arms. I am 6' and weigh over 400 lbs. I have tried Weight Watchers, LA weight loss, Nutri System, cabbage soup diet and the grapefruit diet. Writing this entry is the first time I have admitted my weight to anyone.
