I was absolutely exhausted the first week, for sure. I definitely wasn't getting in as much Fluid as you, either. At just over two weeks, there have only been a couple of days that I've come home from

What are you doing on the elliptical???? You just had major surgery, you need to rest and heal. As long as you are getting your fluids and Proteins I think you are OK. It is very normal to be tire

Walking is good. It will help. My first week was rough but it does get better. Keep up your liquids, protein and exercise. Soon you will barely remember the pain! Good luck on your journey!

My surgery went well so I'm told but the pain of that first night is not something I would wish on anyone. It didn't seem to matter how much dilaudid they gave me I was in incredible pain. There was discussion of ICU but that didn't happen and believe it or not the sent me home the following day. Don't remember much about Wednesday or Thursday mostly in and out of sleep and trying to drink my water and isopure. Yesterday was a little better but today absolutely 0 energy like hard to lift my head. I feel like I'm getting a decent amount of protein and at least 50oz of water so I'm not sure why I can't seem to move. I spent 10 minutes on the elliptical today and slept for 6 hours. Is this normal or should I be calling my Dr or going to ER?
