Try asking your family to eat just 1 meal at the table someone is sure to resist you at first mine did, but it's so much nicer and great family time. Even if something simple just one meal.

coming up we had a little tv in the kitchen...it was my Dad's ... no one was allowed to touch it when he was home... and during dinner it was OFF... always... unfortunately that didn't help my eating habits ... but we are grazers...so I agree, if you make your plate, and eat mindfully, slowly...it shouldn't matter where... but if I had a family, I would SO VERY want to sit around the dinner table, without tv, and visit...it's the only time of the day we were all together... @BigGirlPanties (good night, John Boy...LOL) Your comment here made me smile but I ended up disliking that show because my mom would always say "why can't you kids get along like those Walton kids?" There are 5 of us and we got along like NORMAL siblings lol. Thanks for the smile :)
