Hey I was wondering if anyone has had any sharp pains on the side where the new sleeve is ... I am 2 weeks post op and this weird sharp feelings started yesterday ... I dont have fever or pain when I drink just every now and then I get spasms which feel sharp .. thanks guys

I suggest you call your surgeon's office.

@@sofianoemi You don't have a JP drain do you? I started having some sharp pains like that, I took my drain out (it had stopped working) and as soon as I did the pain went away. Oh PS: disclaimer; if you do have a JP I am in no way telling you to take yours out! I had permission on a Sunday from my surgeon because I'm in nursing and have dealt With JP drains. ????

Dehydration can also cause pains in the side. If they persist, it is best to contact the doc.

No jp drain @@Elode I hope nothing is wrong I dont want to go in for surgery again ... hoping its really bad gas but I do think I'm a bit dehydrated @@SuperDave
