I'm 5 days post op and having puréed food. Not all the time tho, I also have broth, yogurt and cottage cheese. So far tolerating everything and down 11 pounds. I am much more comfortable sitting than laying. Each day is getting a little better.

Yes each day is getting better I had the surgery Tuesday..I think just watching all these food commercials my mind is a mess l. I'm happy for the new me but can I ever have a burger at a bbq? Will I ever enjoy a beverage...restaurants etc

Well I'm six months post op and my doctor has cleared me for all regular foods. You just have to be mindful of what you're eating. You can have a treat here and there once you're cleared. But just don't make it a habit. Eating out I try to order something healthy and small. Because you're definitely not going to finish the plate. I usually bring my friends along to tag team my plate at the restaurant. They'll finish it off for me. Lol
