Yes, you can according to my doctor if you drink decaf. I have a cup (8 oz) a week about three times per week.

  • I stuck to decaf for a couple months. Today I'll have 1 cup in the morning with a scoop of chocolate or vanilla whey shaken in. Makes a yummy latte. If I want more coffee I use decaf. I was SO addict

I went back to coffee at 3 wks. My NUT was ok with it.

I am not addicted to caffeine. I get no withdrawal symptoms or buzz from it or anything. But still, I drink a cup of regular coffee every day as a delivery system for my Protein powder. After my surgery I could not hack drinking Protein shakes. They were just gross. Still are gross. I guess I can in a pinch, but I choose not to. Normally I put a scoop of vanilla body fortress in 10 oz or so of coffee, along with a shot of creamer and sugar free syrup. That's the easiest way for me to get my protein in. Once I was back on regular foods, caffeine was not restricted.
