Hi everyone, I'm just starting my journey towards a vertical gastric sleeve. I'm so excited, and looking for support before and after the surgery! I'm only 18, and I've struggled with obesity my entire life and inevitably will without this surgery. With the approval of my insurance company, I can be booked for surgery as soon as February! I'm looking for any other teens, or anyone in general, for support.

I think most of us that struggled early admire you for your proactive decision. You will have the joy of living your whole life in a healthy way!

I'm 25 and I wish I could have done this earlier I'm one week out and it's amazing. Wishing you the best in your journey

I am 22 and also starting my journey i already went to my first Nutri visit have my second dec 12 and from there i need two more and ill do psych and pulmonologist and cardio and ill be ready to send it all out to my insurance. my surgeon said it should all be done with in 4 months. I'm very excited. p.s i am attending a seminar 2morrow.

I am 22 and had my sleeve done 6/30/2014. Wish I would have done it earlier! You will do great and be proud a few months down the road! Good luck and think positive! ????

So I'm 15 out and already stopped losing weight for 4 days is this normal
