LOL That kind of reminds me of the Three stooges bit where one is carrying a long 2x4 and turns around and misses the other guy, but continues on around and smacks him in the back of the head! Here in East Texas we call that a backhanded compliment.

However insensitive, you did the right thing.......take the compliment, smile and go on about your business. Ya can't fix stupid.
