Incision issues

I am 3 weeks out now and Im having issues with the main incision healing. It is not closing up and has puss still coming out of it. I went to the Drs and they said just keep gouze on it with tape and it should heal. Its been 3 days now and still the same its not looking better. Has anyone had any issues with the incisions not healing correctly? if so what helped it?

That one incision takes quite a while. Be patient. It will heal.

Thank you i just never seen such a gross thing in my life all the other incisions are looking perfect and I was wanting to stop taking the paid meds but I cant because of the pain I have in that one. Hopefully another few weeks it will heal.
