Tomato soyp?

Hi,

I was wondering if tomato Soup was considered a clear broth?

Also, the guy in post EGD said shakes were ok post op?

Any thoughts?

    your doctor should have gave you a hand out of what you can and cant have for my WLS, tomato soup was not on my clears but on my full liquid segment. i would ask your surgeon about shakes etc inste

I would say tomato soup is definitely not clear. Examples of clear broth are chicken broth and miso. I was only asked to do clear liquids for two days after surgery. As soon as you can, I would add protein shakes. Also try iso-pure beverages which you can get at GNC.

i would ask your surgeon about shakes etc instead of listing to an EKG person

just my opinon...and shakes are your fuel/your food/your Protein...i continue

Ensure also makes a Clear Protein Drink in Peach and other flavors. You can find it by the slim fasts, boost, muscle milk, etc in the super market!
