Finally

So I am excited to say my surgery was approved and is scheduled for Oct 29th. I am not excited to say I am on day 3 of my liquid diet. How have other people coped with this?

@@samanthar HI, I'm on day 6 and it's been really easy for me thank goodness. I don't know why. I haven't "cheated" so I'm guessing that's why my body is just use to it. I also make sure I have my shakes every 3 hrs so I haven't felt hunger. My husband and company just got done eating BBQ and surprisingly it didn't Bother me at all to sit with everyone drinking my vanilla shake I don't know your pre op diet or how long it is but just set your mind to doing it and think about the future you. Its only a short period in your life and It will be over before you know it! Good luck, stay strong!

Thanks for the encouraging words. My liquid diet is only 6 days. My stomach is cramping and I feel like I've had the flu for 3 days. I did sit in the same room as my kids while they ate pizza. Which was a weakness for me. I am happy to say I survived without a bite.
