I have a second job at a coffee shop. I just started my pre op liquid diet 3 days ago. So far I honestly don't know how I have resisted. But I have been told it will get easier.

Its been hard I think I would hit my goal by now... I went back on my diet I'm going to see my dietitian next month

How far in the process are you? It hasn't been too bad up until now. I started my liquid diet and trying to work around food was almost unbearable. But it really does get easier.

I manage a buffet place with salad bar, pizza, chicken, ice cream, and a fountain soda machine. I haven't had to deal with it yet, but tomorrow I will be starting back. I plan on taking my breaks in my office so I can eat slowly and think about what I am eating. We do have some healthy choices on the salad bar, so hopefully I can set my mind on those too. I am going to rely on my sleeve to tell me that I don't need to eat anymore and to not eat beyond that.

I have no doubts that it is going to be a challenge...we'll see how it goes!

I work around food and it's hard ... it's sandwiches which I don't like the lunch meat so I'm good with that but the biggest thing is the cookies and mustn't and the chips
