Lower BMI patients

So I'm looking for stories from lower BMI patients about their weight loss after surgery. Those people who like me have less weight to lose before hitting goal. Let's say 100 lbs and less. Do we hit a higher % of excess weight? Does it come off faster? Anything that you'd like to share about your journey ......

I have about 90 to lose to be in the normal range. Following post

I started my 6 month diet at just a smidge over 40. I was down to 34 just before starting my 2 week pre-op diet yesterday. I was so sure I wanted to have the sleeve but my pre-op diet is so nasty I'm considering giving up. I can only have 4 New Directions products a day and zero calorie non-caffeinated beverages. I don't mind the bars but I can barely choke down the shakes, Soup and pudding. Week two I can't have bars and just thinking about having to eat 4 of those other items makes me want to puke. My nut said "It's only for two weeks".

Ive never been able to obtain a reasonable goal weight and have always gained back everything I loose plus more. Do I keep choking down that crap for 12 more days (costs about $100 a week) or just keep on the diet I've been on for the past 6 months?
