November 19th!

So I am approved for surgery and am scheduled for November 19th. I am beyond ready to start this new chapter in my life. My husband says why don't you have it in December that way you can have a last Thanksgiving meal with the family. I thought about and then said eating they way I do has gotten me to the point I am at now. I think I have had enough actual Thanksgiving meals and just be thankful for this new journey and life ahead of me!

I will be your sleeve buddy - I go it at 8:30 am on the 19th (just found out today). I start my preop diet tomorrow. I thought the same thing about T-giving but I remembered I don't really care of T-giving foods and, if I'm serious, I'm ready now. This also puts me on the road to recovery for Christmas.

I'm also schedule for surgery on Nov. 19. @ 9 am. Been on my pre-op diet for 5 days now Hope we can keep in touch on our way throught WLS.

Pre-op survival: I mixed vanilla Protein shakes with coffee which was really good. I also mixed my chocolate powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury with coffee. It was great b/c its cold here so it was like hot cocoa. I ordered wonton Soup and then just drank the broth. Got in 93g. Only 4 more days!!!!!

I had sleeve. 19 also,,, How ya doing,,, Best thing I could finally have is. Cream portobello soup,,, Still trying to get the protein right,,, Still tired,,,,

How is everyone? Longing for Wed when I get REAL food aka cottage cheese and yogurt. Today (day 6) I felt great. Still some pain with the higher incisions but put in a full day at work and am not beat. I actually still have energy. I'm doing well with the Protein and other liquids. No issues at all - sip sip sipping.

Was sleeved Nov 19th

Hello I was sleeved on November 17th. I feel great. But since lift patients at work, I'm not ready to return to work. Losing weight well. Can't weight to be cleared for exercising.

How's all of the November sleevers?! Lost 40lbs and feel great! Cant eat a full meal as instructed by the doctor. I only can eat maybe 2 forks full and that's about it. Then again in about 3hrs. Wanna know how everyone else is doing.

I'm doing well. I have my check up on Wednesday of this week. Lost 45 lbs. I Don't understand how do you gain weight when I'm not eating much. Only gained 1 pound one week then loss 3 lbs. I have already start exercising but will wait before starting weights. Be careful eating potatoes and breads. Remember, PROTEIN PROTEIN.

Are you able to eat bread? I haven't eaten any bread or potatoes. I've been scared that it wouldn't agree with my stomach.

Nov10th here. You are all doing great. I was a revision from band. My loss is much slower. I am down 22 lbs since pre-op 11 lbs since surgery. I have 35 to go. I wish it was faster but I continue the journey. Great things to look forward to this year!
