My insurance requires 3 months of weight management/nutrition and psych evaluation. I thought I was all done and waiting on approval. Drs office called me today and said they have been getting denials from my insurance company so they want me to do one more appointment before they submit! But, not until Nov. 13!!! I am a teacher and was hoping to have surgery during thanksgiving break. She said they will tentatively schedule, but I'm getting discouraged. My deductible starts over Jan 1 and it's over $1000 so I sure hope this goes off without a hitch!

Thanksgiving break sounds like a very short time off work to me. How about Christmas break? I gotta be honest, foodwise, Christmas isn't going to be great with either date.

I'm going to stay off until probably after Christmas break. If I go back before it will only be a week.
