Hi there! Was just sitting here thinking of you and wondering how you're doing. I pray that everything is coming along alright. I can't hardly wait until Nov.19th to go to my very 'first' appointment:+) Hopefully i'll come out smiling! Keep us posted on your progress. I love this forum. Bye for now.

Sassy24, thank you for those kind words. All is well. Having a difficult time getting my fluids in. But I am realizing that it is getting a little better & easier each day. I can't stand the taste of the protein drinks. They are horrible to me. But I did like the unjury chicken soup. I'm just about finished with clear fluids & will switch to full in a couple of days. I'm hoping that I get my required protein in during that stage. I will have more of a variety to choose from. Sometimes I feel like didn't prepare myself for this phase. I did buy what I need ed but I didn't taste it before hand.

Good for you - so happy to hear you are now a LOSER!

So excited for you!

Awwww, you'll be fine:+)...sometimes ya just can't think of 'everything' to do. I'm getting quite nervous awaiting my very first appointment. Hope I don't out of the range criteria for having this surgery cuz I REALLY need it. I have other things going on with me besides the weight. Right now I'm 210 and by the time I have to lose those required 10 pounds, that may put me out of bmi range. Will be praying that you continue progress nicely. I'll be checking in again.

Sassy24.... Things will be just fine. My 1st post op appt was yesterday & I was taken off of 1 blood pressure medicine, my diabetic medication was cut in half. I was so happy! I started this journey at 278, in currently 255.5. Most of my WL was during the liquid stage. During the 6 months I ate like it was the end of the world. Lol, but you will be fine. Keep me posted on how you are doing.

You are doing GREAT!!!! Indeed, I will keep you posted:+) PS:BTW, i'm eating right now too like it's the end of the world, only because I wanna stay the weight I am right now and not slip below the bmi criteria, but i know FULL WELL what I have to do once I'm ok'd for surgery, and for the REST of my life if I wanna live a 'healthy' life!
