How many days post op before swimming again?

If anyone out there can pass on their experiences with starting back to swim or other exercises post- bypass, I would be very interested. ..

Thanks! !

I dipped in the pool around 8 days out but just started swimming again this week. Surgery 8/26 RnY. I also fit in a smaller suit size since I've lost 35+ lbs. in these last 6 weeks.

I am almost 6 months out from gastric bypass. I was cleared to swim at one month as long as incisions were healed. I spent the summer at the pool indoor and outdoor and will say got tired afterwards but loved it. I did quickly drop swimming suit sizes. I haven't been to pool lately because of teaching.

I started swimming this week at 2.5 weeks post op. The doctor said as long as my incisions had no scabs I was fine to start. My swim was good, 30 min of lenth swimming, but I did fine my insides felt a little tender. Originally I was going to swim daily but not will do every other day and start slow.
