Hey girl...I have missed you!!!!! Are you exercising and gaining muscle? That could be the problem...exchanging muscle for fat....are your clothes fitting looser...dont let the scale be your only way of deciding whether it is working...Deanna

I was banded on 4/17/07 and I think I'm losing slowly. Suggestions - is my weight doing ok?????

4/2/07 - 4/17/07 I lost 20lbs pre op

4/17 - 5/10/07 I lost 16lbs

Dont get discouraged right now. If you are 2 weeks out, are you on mushie foods? You may not start really losing until you can eat healthier solids...the protein and veggies that are the basis of a recommended meal. You also may be one that has a hard time without any fill in your band. Hang in there! I know it seems impossible to have patience with it, but it will happen.

I was banded on 4-2-07 and feel like I could (once again) eat a side of beef, topped off with a cake!!! I most likely am not losing now but, my first fill is set for 5-17-07!!!!!!!!! Boy... do I hope that helps to make me feel full and satisfied.

My doc says to concentrate on healing, and changing habits that will help me after I get restriction. The 6 weeks before my first fill is not for weightloss- just healing... so I try not to fret... and I don't own a scale (yet).. I just weigh in when I vistit his office.

GOOD LUCK on your new journey!!!!
