Whey protein issues?

So for a while now I've been feeling crummy after drinking/eating protein shakes & bars....my dr. suggested taking a new whey protein shot in order to get all my protein in. So I choked it down yesterday...within minutes I was nauseated. Long story short I lost 3 pounds last night & feel like my abs had a weeks worth of working out (if I weren't feeling so weak I'd consider it a victory)

I don't think I'm stretching it when I believe I have a whey protein issue...my question is....does anyone else have this? If so, can you recommend any non whey shakes or bars?

Grazie!

Hi Goonie. Does the whey protein includes the clear ones? I also had trouble with keeping down the whey protein powder. I went back to drinking isopure protein drink sold at gnc and vitamin stores

Hi there!

I had issues with isopure first....but thank you for the suggestion. Sorry you had issues too!

Garden of Life Raw Protein and Raw Fit are sprouted seed protein.

Spirutein is rice, pea and soy protein.

Jay Robb has egg protein powders.

Those are just the ones I've used. If you google pea protein or soy protein or egg protein or hemp protein, you will find dozens of products. I also think there's a vegan subforum on here you could check out.
