When can I have a small salad? Help. Am post-surgery 4 weeks. 32lbs down.

Hi everyone. I'm so hungry for a salad-lettuce, little dressing. When can I have it?

  • What does your surgeon's plan say you can have it? Every surgeon's plan is different, so I would start with him/her or your NUT.

  • I wasn't allowed to have greens until the 7th week. You may just want to check with your doc.

Oh man, I'm with you! I'm having a rough time with everything - had my gallbladder out with my RNY. So I think salads are a loooong way off for me. But there's a Thai shrimp salad on an Applebee's commercial that makes my mouth water every time!
