I know that I cannot take ibuprofen anymore after I get my band. I am trying to get all my post op things together now. Should I buy liquid Tylenol or does anyone know of adult chewables?

Ask for liquid pain meds from your Doctor ,I took them at the Hospital & for like 3 days when I was at Home ,could have been a little more but it's been 2 years ,so I only can remember the 3 days ,but they gave me a script for the liquid pain reliever so someone could pick it up for me.

Liquid Tylenol can be ordered from your pharmacist. I only filled it twice One month was five huge bottles. After two months I decided to try caplets. My nurse said those were safer than tablets. I've had zero problems and I am four fills in. Matter of fact during my fills using the fluoroscope, I swallow two Tylenol arthritis caplets to make sure I'm not too tight.

If you order the liquid do it ahead of time. My pharmacy didn't have it in stock.
