What are the steps?

Well just the process sorry I worded that funny, but the pre diet and what not.

Some of us have no pre-op diet but most do. Every doctor will have their own protocol. Some want you on an Atkins type diet. Some want only liquids, some want to keep the carbs below 40.

X fingers for you to not have a pre-op diet!

Congratulations!!!

I am on day 6 of pre op clear liquid diet along with dr prescribed optifast. Shakes are tasty but i am starving. Have con't to work and sometimes i feel like i might not make it. I have a strong faith in God and it helps to pray. Fighting my food demons. Had no idea they were there until all food was taken away!! Dr said that is one reason for such a long strict diet. After 5 days ate 2 bites of a hot dog with bun and 20 min later severe cramps. No more hotdogs for me. It has been a ling (3 year) journey for me my surgery in 1 week. Congrats and good luck. If it is meant to be it will work out. If God leads you to it. He will get you through it ????
