Fluid intake

Can Protein shakes count towards you volume of daily required fluids? EXAMPLE. Bottle Water 16.9 and a 20 oz Protein shake equal 36.9 oz. I am worried about dehydration after surgery since I only drink about 3 bottles of water a day

Thanks

Hi kpar909956, I'm worried now, as I can't drink 3 bottles of water. I'm only doing abt one and a half, the protein drink if I can. I get that full feeling very quick.

It was also hard for until today. I just kept sipping on water and protein shakes all day. I feel well satisfied. I was around a lot of food all day. It was weird. I enjoyed the smell of the food , but I did not feel hungry for the food. It is really hard for me to tell if I am hungry or not. Very weird .
