So tomorrow I'm going to gwt my blood work.. I was on a empty stomach.. so I shouldn't eat after 22 tonight correct ? Receptionist sed in a empty stomach.. no details

    If they said you have to fast then don't eat or drink anything after midnight

    For surgery, rule of thumb is nothing after midnight. For fasting lab work, the posted signs in the laboratory near to where I live says 12 hours is best for accurate fasting lab work, but it ranges between 8-12 hours of fasting depending on orders of the physician or clinic.
