Thanks LapBandTalk for your support these last few weeks as I prepare for surgery Tuesday. I havent posted much, talked with Michelle who intoroduced me to this site. I JUST found out today about the las Vegas trip this weekend...sheesh! need to come back here more often to get the party dates before they're over!

I've made it through almost 2 weeks of protien shakes. My surgury will be at 7am in Laguna Beach, South Boast Hospital with Dr. Quebbemann.

Again, I've sure enjoyed the posts and support here.

Anita, you're just a year younger than me. Get ready for a wonderful change in your life! You are going to get out there and be able to do things that you haven't done in years! You and your family will enjoy the "new, improved" healthier you! Sending (((hugs))) and prayers for an uneventful surgery and minimum pain recovery period.

Make sure you come back to the board more often after your surgery. It sure helps to have someone to talk to about all the changes. Hope your surgery is easy and your recovery is quick.

Good Luck and best wishes Anita. And I agree, come back here often, it helps me stay on track, and continues to educate and reassure me as I begin my journey. I'm 19 days out of surgery, doing really well, only minimally tender now, and down 15 pounds!

anita: OH I wish I had known sooner you were getting banded tomorrow I would have driven to the hospital and been there with you. I am in the Los Angeles area. Like Michelle said give us a call anytime.
