GAINED 8 POUNDS BACK! :(

Recommended Posts

I know that it is "normal" even my dr says it is but I am not ok with gaining 10 pounds back!! I have been so upset today that Ive cried! Has this happened to any of you?!!? If so how did you get it back together? I know that I have does a few things that I should not have but over all I have not been doing what I would consider bad enough to gain this much! HELP!!

So you do know how it happened, right? So just try to get back in there and work that sleeve like you did to lose the 139lbs. Don't give up. Cry if you have to, it's cleansing to the system and lets out the pent up emotions.

Yea I guess realistically I know how I've gotten to this low point. I'll have to just get back to basics

Well try not to see it as a low point, but maybe as just part of the journey. A real low point maybe gaining back a significant amount of what you have lost. You caught it at 8 pounds. You are ahead of the game. Peace

Yes, it happened to me -- funny, for me it was exactly 8 lbs too!

And yes, the answer is to get back to basics :)

And, since getting back to basics I have lost that 8 plus another 10, and now I know for sure it's in my power to get to goal.

Good for you for saying +10lbs is NOT ok.

You have the power to do this too!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
