I am praying for a Sept 29th date! I find out on 9/9/14!

I'm getting dressed for my pre-op appointment. My surgery date is 9/8 and I'm ready and anxious to get it over and done.

I'm in Eastern Virginia and just found this forum so I'll reply after I've read some more topics.

My date is September 9, I'm pretty sure I'm exaggerating how bad this diet is, but I'd honestly rather eat Brussels sprouts than any of these nasty drinks and protein bars :/ hopefully this last week goes by quickly!

My surgery is September 8. Just had my pre-op appointment with surgeon yesterday and everything is GO! My pre-op diet was optional but I'm doing 2 shakes a day and one light meal.

It's been such a long lead up to the surgery it seem like it won't ever get here. I started the process in May and insurance company require 3 months of diet counseling and a chat with a psychologist.

Now I'm getting the last bits together for post surgery liquids and cleaning out the fridge.

I am new on here also and scared my surgery is scheduled for 9/25/14 starting my pre op on 9/11/14 really excited to start a new chapter in my life as a thin person but still worried about things. Good Luck to you.

My pre op liquid diet starts 09 / 11 and surgery date is 09 / 25

Congrats to all Sept patients!!! Let's stop worrying and push through we can do it. We want better and we shall have it! Just a little inspiration I'm a Lil over 24 hours away from surgery.

Good luck Alicia. Big eating changes ahead. But at least we won't feel like we are starving. Can't wait to stop feeling hungry all the time.

TOMORROW! Today is all liquids and getting ready for tomorrow. Gastric sleeve is outpatient but knowing how I react to anesthesia I'm packing for an overnight stay.

My husband finally admitted that he is scared. I'm scared of the pain afterwards and for some reason the tests after surgery is frightening.

Oops hit wrong key. Good luck to every one this weekend and a speedy recovery to all. Success on your journey to a life. Mine is the 10th so ready to be on the other side (I think minus the pain for a short time). For the next 3 days liquid only shakes and water. I think this is worst. Woke up with headache glad for this part to be over.
