I am thinking about going to Mexico for surgery but am wanting to get feedback on where to go and what doctor everyone recommends? Also does anyone know if Mexico accepts Care Credit? OK let me here from people go!

I went to Mexico as self pay. I went to Tijuana and had Dr. Garcia. I had a great experience and would recommend him to anyone. It was not an easy decision to make but I am truly happy I did it.

Hi Kim, I am also going to Tijuana on Nov 5 for my surgery. My surgeon is Dr. Almanza. I have heard many good things about him. I have done the self pay. They also have financing & lay away available. Best part about going to Mexico for your surgery is the fact that you don't have to jump through a bunch of hoops & play the waiting game with the insurance company.

I don't know anything about any specific surgeons in Mexico, but you might get more answers if you asked this on the surgeons and hospitals subforum under the main gastric sleeve surgery forum.

I will be getting sleeved by Dr. Quinones in TJ Nov 13th! I was going to use Dr. Almanza and then decided on Dr. Q after further research! Good luck!

I have decided on Dr.Ortiz and I'm going in October

Really think Dr. Ortiz looks most qualified but costs more. I am thinking about scheduling for October with either Dr. Ortiz or Dr. Lopez. Anyone try Dr. lopez?
